In 2014 we returned to the maddest city on earth with our S5 Concert structure, the iconic Arc Bar of Arcadia. We’ve been going to Boomtown for years, and have witnessed first hand its incredible journey from a mere seedling into the legendary event it is today. And this year, it was well and truly out of this world!
Located slap bang in the middle of the vibrant Downtown area, our SingleSpan S5000 was just around the corner from the Barrio Loco district and a mere stones throw away from an arachnophobic’s worst nightmare, the giant mechanical spider of Arcadia. Our S5 structure looked fantastic alongside it, raised on black base extensions for extra height and with bespoke details like a silver and black membrane to match the spider.
This year on the spider, possibly the most iconic DJ booth on the planet, revellers were treated to legendary dance music pioneers Aphrodite, Tipper, Black Sun Empire and Opiuo amongst others. Sheltered under the curved trusses of our S5 we were able to catch all the best headliners whilst sheltering from the grim weather we had most of the weekend. The rain didn’t dampen any spirits though – how could it in a place like Boomtown?

We were thrilled with their outstanding bespoke detailing; with a silver and black membrane and black base extensions to match the mechanical spider, it fitted in perfectly with the characteristic look and feel of the Arcadia area.”
And that wasn’t all from Silver Stage. If you were lucky enough to have been there this year, you’ll have seen venues all around the sprawling city comprised of our sleek 10mx10m and 5mx5m Quadra-Sided tents, including The Graveyard Dank Parish, Happy Slap Boutique, Leisure Centre Downtown and the Musement in China Town.
