Our top 4 most inventive airstream conversions

More retro than Rick James standing on a rubix cube eating opal fruits, classic American automobiles can be metamorphosised, customised, or taken apart and completely rebuilt. Here are a few of the best transformations we’ve ever made.

Silver Bullet

1) The Silver Bullet cocktail bar

We took a 16ft Airstream Caravelle and transformed it completely. Now with removable casing, an entire side opens up to reveal a sleek cocktail bar with steps leading up it. Shake up mojitos for your starlets and superstar DJs as they hang off our Silver Bullet Bar looking achingly cool. Our luxury trailer has been completely fitted out with bar equipment such as ice machine, beer taps, running water, sinks and fridges.

2) The high-tech production unit

Sound out-of-this-world? We’ve done it before! Decked out with useful electronic fittings and with plenty of clear workspace, it’s a dream to work in.

Could there be a more fitting home for the “wheels of steel” than inside our metallic airstream? We promise that your DJ’s couldn’t look cooler entertaining crowds from the most retro booth around. And, standing raised from the ground with a set of stairs, it makes a great podium for speakers, compares and MC’s alike.

4) The VIP dressing room

The epitome of sophistication, our beautiful silver trailers make the perfect concierge space or green room. In fact, our 1960’s Globetrotter 19ft VIP, which has been fitted out in retro style, was used as a dressing room in Covent Garden for Vogue’s Fashion Night Out in 2011. If it’s good enough for Vogue…
